Close embrace Argentine tango

A dance of connection

Bienvenidos

Welcome to our
tango community

We dance and teach Argentine Tango in a close embrace style, where the focus is on connection, music, and the shared pleasure of dancing together.

Our classes and workshops are friendly, supportive, and open to everyone - whether you're just starting out or looking to deepen your dance.

Alongside teaching, we also host our own welcoming Milongas, where you can experience the traditions of Tango in both music and style, meet fellow dancers, and share the floor in an inviting, respectful and relaxed atmosphere.

Come join us, and be part of a community that celebrates the beauty of Argentine Tango both in classes and on the dance floor.

Cake first,
then the cabeceo

Home-baked Victoria sponges and cheesecakes, jam-jar flowers, and proper china on a white cloth. Our milongas keep the warmth of an English afternoon tea and add the music and manners of a Buenos Aires salon.

Wherever there's
a good floor

Village halls, church halls, assembly rooms and community centres, wherever the floor is worth dancing on. Ordinary, beautiful rooms that ask nothing of you but to dance.

For your partner,
and the floor

Close, chest to chest, small steps for a crowded floor. First and foremost it's for your partner, the two of you and the music. But it's for the whole floor too, reading the couples around you, giving space and sharing the ronda.
